Service Terms and Conditions
Introduction: These terms and conditions set out the contractual relationship between you and the provider in respect of the supply of services. The following service terms, also referred to as our terms of service or service agreement, explain how bookings are made, how payments are handled, what happens in the event of cancellations, and the allocation of liability. They also summarise responsibilities relating to waste handling and compliance with relevant waste regulations. By making a booking you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these service T&Cs.Scope and Application
These service terms and conditions apply to all bookings for services supplied by the business, whether arranged online, by telephone or in person. The terms form the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior arrangements or understandings. Where separate written agreements exist, they will be read in conjunction with these terms unless explicitly stated otherwise. Nothing in these terms is intended to limit statutory rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Booking Process
The booking process begins when you request a service and the provider issues a confirmation. A booking is not binding until confirmed in writing or by electronic communication. Service bookings may be subject to availability and may require the provision of accurate information about locations, access arrangements and the nature of the work. Mistakes in the booking details should be notified promptly so that the provider can assess whether the requested services can still be delivered as instructed. How to Book and Amend
When making a reservation you may be asked to provide certain details to secure the booking. The provider reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking where information provided is false, incomplete or misleading. Amendments to confirmed bookings will be accommodated where reasonably possible but may incur additional charges. Customers should ensure that the booking details are reviewed at the point of confirmation; the provider will rely on these details when planning resources and logistics.Payments
Payment terms will be presented at the time of booking. Payment options may include card payment, bank transfer and other mutually agreed methods. Where a deposit is required, the deposit will be taken as security and will be deducted from the final invoice unless otherwise stated. The provider may require full payment in advance for specific services or where delivery timescales are short. All payments must be made in the currency specified on the invoice.
- Deposit payments: A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure dates and resources.
- Final payments: Final balances are due as specified on the confirmation or invoice.
- Late payments: Interest may be charged on overdue sums in accordance with applicable law and the agreed rates described on the invoice.
Refunds and Adjustments
Where refunds are due (for example, following cancellation within a refundable period or adjustment after service delivery), refunds will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Processing times may vary; the provider is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment providers. Any disputed charges must be raised within a reasonable period following the invoice date to enable prompt investigation.Cancellations and No-shows
Cancellation terms are designed to reflect the resources allocated at the time of booking. If you cancel a service, the provider may retain all or part of the deposit and may charge for costs and losses reasonably incurred up to the point of cancellation. Where work is scheduled and the customer fails to provide access or is a no-show, the provider may charge a cancellation fee or the full amount for the expected service.
- Customer cancellations: Fees depend on notice period. Longer notice typically reduces charges.
- Provider cancellations: The provider will offer alternatives, credit or a refund where cancellation is initiated by the provider, unless prevented by force majeure.
- Rescheduling: Rescheduling may be possible subject to availability and may incur administration fees.
Liability and Indemnity
The provider will perform services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, the provider's liability for loss, injury or damage arising out of or in connection with the service terms will be limited to direct losses reasonably foreseeable at the time of booking. Indirect, consequential or special losses (including loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of use) are excluded. Nothing in these terms seeks to exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Customer Responsibilities
The customer must provide safe access and accurate information about the site and any relevant hazards. The customer is responsible for securing and protecting third party interests and for ensuring that any legal consents required for the services are obtained. The customer will indemnify the provider against claims arising from inaccurate or incomplete information, failure to obtain consents, or breach of statutory duties by the customer.Insurance: The provider maintains insurance appropriate to the nature of its activities. Customers should maintain their own insurance for losses not covered by the provider’s policy. Where specific insurance obligations are imposed by law or by the contract, these must be complied with and evidence produced on request.
Waste Regulations and Environmental Compliance
The handling and disposal of waste in the course of service delivery must comply with applicable waste regulations. Both parties shall act in accordance with their legal obligations, including the duty of care in relation to the transfer, storage and disposal of controlled waste. The provider will take reasonable steps to ensure that waste is handled and disposed of at authorised facilities and will maintain records of waste transfer where required by law.Hazardous and Controlled Waste: Where waste is identified as hazardous or controlled, materials must be segregated, packaged and labelled in accordance with legal requirements. Customers must notify the provider of any known hazardous materials prior to service so that special arrangements can be made. Additional charges may apply for special handling, storage or disposal arrangements.
- Waste documentation: Transfer notes and disposal records will be provided where required and retained for the period mandated by regulation.
- Duty of care: The customer and provider must each take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised disposal or contamination.
- Charges: Costs associated with non-compliant waste or unexpected hazardous materials discovered during the service will be charged to the customer.
Privacy and Data
Any personal data processed in connection with the provision of services will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection law. The provider will process customer data to perform the service, manage bookings and comply with regulatory obligations. Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties except where necessary to perform the service or where required by law. Customers should consult the provider’s privacy notices for further details where available.
Force Majeure and Unforeseen Events
Neither party will be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, acts of government, strikes, pandemics, or supply chain disruption. Where a force majeure event affects performance, the affected party must notify the other as soon as reasonably practicable and both parties will seek to minimise the impact and agree on suitable arrangements.
